E.G.C. Membership and Ordination.

The Laity.

Lay membership of the E.G.C. is available to all. There are no formal requirements at this stage, apart from that the candidate must be of "full age, free and of good report" (as with all matters of the E.G.C.). The Ceremonies consist of a Baptism and a Confirmation. These may be taken separately or at the same time - as the candidate wills.

The Diaconate.

Ordination as a Deacon in the E.G.C. is available to those who have aptitude and wish to enter the Path of Service provided that they have received their Baptism and Confirmation in the E.G.C. The other formal requirements are made known to the candidates upon application, but they are expected to study their role and purpose in the Mass and to prepare themselves for the Way of Service.

The Novitiate.

Application to study as a Novice Priestess or Priest in the E.G.C. is open after at least one year in Service as a Deacon. The other formal requirements will be made known upon application, but the candidates are expected to study and divine the Mystery of the Mass for themselves, as well as they may, their progress being dependent upon their level of understanding, and their commitment to their fellow brethren in the Way of Service. The Novitiate will study under an Ordained Priest or Priestess, and may with approval perform the Mass under their direction and encouragement.

The Priesthood.

Ordination as a Priestess or Priest in E.G.C. is available to those that are fully dedicated to the path of Devotion. The formal requirements will have been made known to them in their training as a Novice Priestess or Priest, and they will begin to study and apply themselves to the Work of Devotion, necessary to the Way of Service. They will perform the Mass and the other sacerdotal Rites of E.G.C. and train those aspirants under their care in the Novitiate. (Note: Certain secret Formulae of the Mass and their roles are taught to the Priestess and Priest in their Ordination.)

The Episcopacy.

Ordination to the function of a Bishop is only given within E.G.C. to those who have fulfilled the above devotions.

There are No Fees of any kind within the E.G.C.
